How do I get started?
Getting started with artificial intelligence does not have to be complicated or time-consuming. Many companies know that AI will play an important role in the future, but at the outset they face very concrete questions:
Where is the best place to start?
Which processes are suitable?
Which data may be used?
Do I even have all the data an AI needs?
And how can it be ensured that an AI solution not only works technically, but also really supports day-to-day work?
Vimmera AI supports companies exactly at this point. Getting started does not begin with finished software or an abstract technology decision, but with understanding your company, your tasks, and your existing knowledge base.
We work with you to develop the AI strategy that fits your company
Together we use your experience and ours, assess your processes, data and way of working, and take the first steps together.

Start with the benefit, not the technology
A successful AI introduction rarely (actually never) begins with the question of which system should be used. What matters first is the question of which problem should be solved. Where do employees lose time today? Where is information being searched for, checked multiple times, or compiled manually? Where do follow-up questions, uncertainties, or recurring tasks arise?
These observations reveal suitable areas of application. This could be an internal knowledge assistant, support in customer service, a solution for document analysis, or a system that prepares employees for specialist decisions.
What matters is that the first use case is clearly defined and offers a recognizable benefit.
The first step: creating orientation
At the beginning, Vimmera AI works with you to analyze which requirements, data — not just files, but also data that, for example, may only exist in employees' heads — processes and framework conditions are available. The aim is not to automate everything right away. Rather, the focus is on identifying where AI can be used safely, understandably and in a controlled way.
Typical questions in this phase are:
Which information should be made usable?
Who may access which content?
Which tasks should be made easier?
Which results must be traceable?
Which legal, organizational and technical requirements must be observed?
On this basis, a realistic picture emerges of what is sensibly possible and which starting point suits your company.
Start small, learn in a targeted way, expand in a controlled manner
Vimmera AI recommends starting with a clearly defined use case. This makes it possible to gather experience, check quality and build acceptance within the company. A small, well-chosen starting point is often more effective than a large project without a clear direction.
Often, a first and comparatively quick entry into the world of AI is the use of so-called company GPTs, meeting assistants or document analysis tools.
Although this often sounds underwhelming and in many cases one had already imagined that AI would immediately take over almost all jobs…
The reality, however, looks very different:
AI is a tool for us humans. One of the most powerful tools of modern times and certainly one that will actually change many things significantly.
But like any tool, we first have to learn and understand how to use it.
A person does not simply become a pilot and fly an airplane right away. It takes years of training, first steps and learning.
It is the same here. -Even if people often say otherwise.
AI “overnight” or your AI assistants in 90 minutes sounds good. But it has nothing to do with reality.
After the first use of AI in the company, the solution can be expanded step by step. New data sources, additional departments, extra functions or more complex processes can be added once the foundation is stable and acceptance among all employees is truly there.
Through this gradual introduction, AI is also not introduced as a short-term experiment, but as a growing work tool that is oriented toward the needs of the company and its employees.
You do not need to be an AI expert
To get started with Vimmera AI, companies do not need their own AI specialists or a finished technical (AI) strategy. What matters most is the willingness to look at existing processes and work together to find where intelligent support makes sense.
Vimmera AI takes care of the subject-matter and technical assessment, develops suitable solution concepts and ensures that security, data protection, usability and traceability are taken into account from the very beginning.
An idea becomes a usable system
The path to your own AI solution begins with a conversation. It is about your goals, your challenges and the question of where AI can create real added value in your company. This initial assessment results in a concrete proposal for the next steps.
Believe us, we used to think about AI differently than we do today. We also thought that AI would "immediately" change everything…
We will not make that mistake a second time and are happy to pass on our experience to you.
The best start is a (small) first step
AI does not have to (and cannot) change everything immediately.
Many companies have grown over years and decades, built structures and are uniquely organized.
AI can do a lot. A lot indeed. But without the right first step, it will be difficult to really tap into its potential.
Your company is unique and your AI strategy must be too. No one can seriously make any suggestions about how you should start and how AI works best in your company without knowing your company.
Sometimes the first step into the world of AI is not the step that (immediately) changes your company completely. Perhaps the first step is simply getting to know AI, trying it out and inspiring your employees.
Let’s take a meeting as an example:
When complex meetings are held across departments with several people, or when the weekly team meeting is simply taking place, someone will create notes, write minutes and inform colleagues. Of course, questions get answered and topics get followed up on. -Everyone knows that.
Now comes the first contact with AI: a custom-built meeting assistant. No one takes notes anymore, no one writes minutes, emails, or has to answer questions afterward. At the push of a button, since your phone, tablet or laptop is always with you anyway, you're ready to go.
-The meeting is over and everyone receives their minutes. -With the information they need. -Immediately.
Everyone can ask questions, follow up and see exactly their tasks or provide information. In every language and enriched with your company knowledge.
A small step that becomes visible immediately relieves the burden and keeps employees and entire teams better informed.
But there are many more examples:
Company GPTs, meeting assistants and document managers
You have certainly heard of ChatGPT. Or of Claude and Gemini. Perhaps you have even tried these systems yourself. One of your colleagues certainly has too.
These systems can already achieve a lot in the company. Formulate emails better, summarize documents or carry out research.
That is already a small AI introduction in the company.
If this is then implemented in a GDPR-compliant and data-protection-compliant way…, why not!
Or another idea: you certainly conduct (sales) conversations or attend training sessions and further education. Do you take notes? Do you have someone who takes notes? Or do you really remember everything?
AI also offers unexpected possibilities here:
Not only meetings, but all (sales) conversations, training sessions or other meetings with other people (of course also online) can be recorded and transcribed (so to speak, written down). After that, AI can create summaries, minutes or task lists. -Without a single person having written anything down. In seconds, the team is informed or the customer receives the transcript.
Or even better: do you still write manuals, instructions or reports?
Let AI take care of that! Not like ChatGPT ("write this text as an email…" or "create an instruction from this…"), but in your company's own style, using the technical terms you actually use. -Indistinguishable from your own documents or written materials.
These tools are virtually available immediately and without much effort. -Only a few small adjustments are needed (e.g. teaching your syntax, technical terms and writing styles) and then you can get started.
That is AI in your company.
And from there, it continues step by step.
Marketing campaigns, accounting, knowledge management and customer service. All of this can be done quickly and easily. Not all at once. But one after the other. Organized, secure and thorough.
And those were only a few ideas out of many possibilities…!
And once the first step has been taken…
Then we can tackle the really big AI tasks together, such as:
-First-level support directly with the customer
-(technical) planning, e.g. of complex tasks
-Calculations, analyses and forecast generation
Almost any task that a person can perform on a computer or in a conversation can be assisted by our AI systems or even taken over completely.
