Server locations and infrastructure at Vimmera AI
The infrastructure on which AI systems are operated is a central component of security, data protection, and reliability. That is why Vimmera AI places great importance on where and how servers are operated and what control exists over these systems.
Vimmera AI operates its own data servers at various, geographically separated data center locations in Brandenburg and other regions within Germany. All backup systems are also located in Germany and are separated both geographically and organizationally to ensure maximum fail-safety and protection against data loss. We disclose the exact locations if required and based on a confidentiality agreement (NDA).
In addition to its own systems, Vimmera AI also uses rented servers when needed. These are operated exclusively in Europe for its own purposes such as hosting, platform operation, or special services, and are therefore subject to strict European data protection and security regulations.
Server solutions for customers – flexible and secure
Depending on requirements, Vimmera AI also provides server solutions for customers. There is no standard solution, but rather a conscious selection depending on security requirements, performance needs, legal framework conditions, and organizational preferences.
Servers can, for example, be operated by Vimmera AI itself, by selected server providers – such as in Germany or other European countries – or directly at the customer’s site. On-premise solutions are just as possible as dedicated rental servers or private cloud environments.
For particularly sensitive or special applications, AI systems can even be operated on individual end devices, such as specially secured PCs or laptops, without data having to leave the local system.

Vimmera AI advises its customers on selecting the appropriate server architecture. Together, we clarify which requirements exist for data protection, performance, scalability, fail-safety, and costs – and, based on this, select the appropriate location and suitable infrastructure.
